Two young people work on a raised garden bed outdoors on a sunny day.

Four young people work together in a dirt area, possibly gardening or landscaping.

Students spend class time doing interest based projects. Their advisors (teachers) guide them to discover how to take an interest or passion and turn it into a project that will allow them to learn even more. Our goal is growth and learning and we want to emphasize that learning takes place all over the place, not just in the classroom.

Some amazing projects completed by Confluence West students:

  • The creation of a duck enclosure, and the selling of duck eggs.
  • The completion of a staircase built into a dirt hill for our PCOE neighbors who needed an easier way to get up the hill.
  • And many research projects
